Happy Monday! I can't believe how fast Christmas break went for me. School starts back up today! I have loved being able to sleep in and not have anything really to do! No lesson plans, discipline, work meetings, etc. However, I am excited to get back on a schedule and work on this years New Year resolutions!

#1. Cook more! My goal is to make grocery shopping lists, cook almost every night (healthy foods), and save on groceries! It's a work in progress but I am excited to start this resolution!

#2. Get in shape! I haven't seriously exercised in over 6 months! Its bad, I know. I am excited to finally get back into the gym to loose those extra pounds and tone up! This will also work well with my goal to cook more and eat healthy.

#3. My last one for now is to keep a clean house! Its so easy to just leave something sitting in the living room or that extra dish in the sink. I just want my home to feel clean and inviting! (we will also be looking for a house of our own to buy this spring so that is exciting for us!

#4. Save money! We want to buy a home this spring as well as go on some fun vacations this summer. This requires saving some money! We have been pretty good at this but can be a lot better! This means not spending so much on the clothes that I love to buy... but I can manage!

#5. Blog more! I have been pretty busy and get caught up in everything going on that it gets hard to keep up with blogging! This is one that I want to continue to work on!

Today I am wearing one of my favorite gingham shirts from this holiday season. I love adding some color to these sometimes dull winter months! I paired it with my fabulous scarf my husband picked out for me for Christmas! He knows I love leopard print, gold, and cream.. so he thought not purchase something with some of my favorite things! It is perfect to go with any look and I love it!

I am so happy it is Wednesday! I have been feeling a little under the weather since yesterday and am looking forward to a much needed weekend break! Teaching sure does take it out of you sometimes! (But I love it!) I love pencil skirts from J.Crew! They always fit so well and are perfect for my work wardrobe! I own many and continue buying them! They have had amazing deals on all of their skirts with the Black Friday and cyber Monday sales. Below are some of my favorite skirts from J.Crew that I am craving!

On another note, has everyone started the Christmas music? I know I have in my classroom! It brings such a happy feeling to my room and I love the feeling of Christmas! This is one of my favorite holidays and it has finally snowed! I am not excited to drive in it... however I love looking out my window to a fresh white blanket of snow! Ill be honest, it could leave when January comes but until then I will love it!

Fall Uniform..

Okay.. while we were taking these pictures let me just tell you how annoying the wind was! (plus it was freezing!) Utah weather sure knows how to change in an instant... because today it is snowing! The start of winter now has begun. We seem to always have a shorter fall but I still love it all! Lately, bordeaux is pretty much my fall uniform. I wear this amazing rich color almost every day! (You can probably tell from my Instagram.. :) ) Another great thing about this look is I found this over sized sweater and camo pants from Forever 21! Still in love with my finds and have worn them both multiple times!

With the recent snow fall in Utah yesterday, (didn't stick yet...) this is one of my favorite things to wear to keep warm! Fur vests!! I have two right now that I feel I add into every look right now. They are a simple way of adding a great element to any outfit! I love winter because I get to layer. Vests are a great way to do it!

Leather is one of my favorite trends and I jumped right on it! Last fall Rachel from the Pink Peonies wore leather leggings with the leather in the front! I absolutely loved them and they were fabulous on her but the price was outside of my price range! I wanted to find some that were similar and about died when I found this pair at T.J. Max for $15! How amazing is that?! It is now one of my go to pairs of bottoms to wear. This colbalt sweater is also one of my new favorites! Its such a rich blue that caught my eye as soon as I saw it. I also loved that it was over sized and the zipper on the back was a fun addition!

What I Wore Wednesday

Yes, I would say that these pants I wear so much and I am obsessed. I am now wanting to purchase more in solid colors! They are so comfortable as well as so comfy chic! This outfit was one I wore on the day I was sick. I am still getting over this terrible sinus/ cold problem! This look was just like wearing sweats to school but A LOT cuter! I have a really hard time wearing sweats in public! Such a great alternative to ever having to do that! I am also loving this sweater weather. This sweater is from T.J. Max! (I am obsessed with this store!) I always find something that I love every time I go in. An now they have an online shopping option!! How amazing is this? Shop T.J. Max online here.

Happy Monday! I can't believe its already the start to a new week.. but this will be a great one! It is finally starting to get cooler and more fall like weather. This means I get to start breaking out more leather, jackets, sweaters, and layers! (My favorite time of year :) ) This is one of my transitions from summer to fall! Animal print and a small patch of leather. This top works perfect for those who can't commit to the leather look completely! (don't mind the wrinkles... I had a long day at school!) What is your fall transition?

Yes... Ill admit I wore these pants a couple weeks ago in this post here. I cant help it, they are fabulous! I love these pants and could wear them everyday if I wanted to. I choose to pair it with a simple black v-neck and some flat sandals that brings it to a casual level. Perfect to wear to work, date night, or just lounging around! The are so versatile and I have worn them more than once during a two week time span.. guilty.  Animal print {especially Cheetah} is big for fall! I am on the look out for some more items I can add to my closet :)
