One of my favorite traditions in my family is Christmas Pajamas! We always looked forward to the pajamas my grandma was going to give us on Christmas eve. I want to continue this tradition in my own family. Who doesn't love pajamas? Plus all of these are on major sale! With Mavryk, holidays have been a lot more fun! You want to make each one memorable and start traditions early!

This dress is my absolute favorite! I could wear it every day. Its the perfect length, obsessed with the print, and it so breathable for summer. I don't like wearing a lot of jewelry with it because I feel like the print speaks loud enough! I paired it with a simple gold bracelet and watch. This will be a major part of my summer wardrobe! My favorite thing about the colder months is being able to layer! I also love fur vests that always add a hint of surprise to any look. I layered this look with a simple turtle neck, plaid scarf, fur vest, camo pants, and my favorite Steve Madden booties of the moment! I love the small amount of pattern mixing I am able to throw in as well!

I am so happy it is Wednesday! I have been feeling a little under the weather since yesterday and am looking forward to a much needed weekend break! Teaching sure does take it out of you sometimes! (But I love it!) I love pencil skirts from J.Crew! They always fit so well and are perfect for my work wardrobe! I own many and continue buying them! They have had amazing deals on all of their skirts with the Black Friday and cyber Monday sales. Below are some of my favorite skirts from J.Crew that I am craving!

On another note, has everyone started the Christmas music? I know I have in my classroom! It brings such a happy feeling to my room and I love the feeling of Christmas! This is one of my favorite holidays and it has finally snowed! I am not excited to drive in it... however I love looking out my window to a fresh white blanket of snow! Ill be honest, it could leave when January comes but until then I will love it!

Happy Monday!

Today is the start to a VERY busy week.. so much to get done! My husband and I just moved into our new condo on Saturday! We are so excited to finally be in our own place and to get all settled from our move. I didn't even realize how many things we actually had until we had to move it! I am excited to get my kitchen all set up though. My new goal is to actually learn how to cook well! (we will see how quickly that happens :)  I can't wait to set up all my decorations for Christmas and celebrate the upcoming holidays in my own home. 

In addition to moving and getting all settled, I have only two days of teaching this week, then its off to working retail for this Black Friday! It will be interesting to see how many people come and shop! It is also a reminder to me to get my Christmas shopping done! I have gotten some things for my husband including his "big" gift for this Christmas. However, I feel like there is still much more I need to get! (Ill admit, I started shopping about a month ago! Nothing like a head start. 

Well today I am showing off one of my favorite color blocking tops at the moment! I am all about the sparkles this holiday and always find myself going toward neutral colors. Both sequin tops I own are cream! They go with everything. Below are some of my favorite color blocking options right now!

I love these fall months and all the beautiful colors. Even though I love grey, black, and navy, I have to be able to spice things up sometimes!! What do you think?!

This week will consist of a couple transition into fall looks with Neon! I love neon colors and they can add a bold statement to any look. Transitioning them into fall can be difficult but don't be afraid of bright colors when everyone else is wearing dark! How are you transitioning neon this fall?!

Fall Neons..

I had so much fun creating a neon fall look! You can totally transition those neon colors into fall by adding some cooler colors with it! I paired it with this hunter green trench coat that I have had for such a long time! I had gotten this jacket at Ross of all places! It is so versatile and is easily paired with so many different items! (including my favorite neon skirt :) ) You can never go wrong with pairing your neon with chambray! A simple look great for fall!
