Orange Crush: part 1

Yes.. I will admit that I have worn this shirt 3 times since it arrived in the mail! I love the oranges and it just makes me excited for summer! I paired it with my favorite boyfriend jeans and nude heels! My focus was all on my orange "crush" top :). Today I was informed by one of my students that there are only 43 more days of school until summer. Its so crazy how fast my first year of teaching has gone by!! Summer is right around the corner but I am still loving this spring time weather (no matter how bi polar it is).

Sorry for my long blog hiatus!! Life has calmed down somewhat and I have some fun looks to share with you!!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone has a fabulous start to their week. Monday's are always really hard for me. The weekends always go by way to fast. Today I am wearing one of my favorite  trench coats, striped peplum and my favorite Steve Madden booties! Don't mind the closed eyes... I finally got a walking photo that I liked but my eyes were closed. I still decided to use it :) Here is to the rest of the week and making it amazing!

Happy Monday! I can't believe how fast Christmas break went for me. School starts back up today! I have loved being able to sleep in and not have anything really to do! No lesson plans, discipline, work meetings, etc. However, I am excited to get back on a schedule and work on this years New Year resolutions!

#1. Cook more! My goal is to make grocery shopping lists, cook almost every night (healthy foods), and save on groceries! It's a work in progress but I am excited to start this resolution!

#2. Get in shape! I haven't seriously exercised in over 6 months! Its bad, I know. I am excited to finally get back into the gym to loose those extra pounds and tone up! This will also work well with my goal to cook more and eat healthy.

#3. My last one for now is to keep a clean house! Its so easy to just leave something sitting in the living room or that extra dish in the sink. I just want my home to feel clean and inviting! (we will also be looking for a house of our own to buy this spring so that is exciting for us!

#4. Save money! We want to buy a home this spring as well as go on some fun vacations this summer. This requires saving some money! We have been pretty good at this but can be a lot better! This means not spending so much on the clothes that I love to buy... but I can manage!

#5. Blog more! I have been pretty busy and get caught up in everything going on that it gets hard to keep up with blogging! This is one that I want to continue to work on!

Today I am wearing one of my favorite gingham shirts from this holiday season. I love adding some color to these sometimes dull winter months! I paired it with my fabulous scarf my husband picked out for me for Christmas! He knows I love leopard print, gold, and cream.. so he thought not purchase something with some of my favorite things! It is perfect to go with any look and I love it!

I am so happy it is Wednesday! I have been feeling a little under the weather since yesterday and am looking forward to a much needed weekend break! Teaching sure does take it out of you sometimes! (But I love it!) I love pencil skirts from J.Crew! They always fit so well and are perfect for my work wardrobe! I own many and continue buying them! They have had amazing deals on all of their skirts with the Black Friday and cyber Monday sales. Below are some of my favorite skirts from J.Crew that I am craving!

On another note, has everyone started the Christmas music? I know I have in my classroom! It brings such a happy feeling to my room and I love the feeling of Christmas! This is one of my favorite holidays and it has finally snowed! I am not excited to drive in it... however I love looking out my window to a fresh white blanket of snow! Ill be honest, it could leave when January comes but until then I will love it!
