Hi, My name is Kahana and I am a pattern mixing addict...... Or at least that is what I feel like! I can't explain how much I love it. (I always feel like this skirt is apart of my look as well..) Anyways.. I loved this look! Its such a fun pop of color and print with still working well with each other. I feel you can almost never go wrong with mixing patterns if you do it in a classic way! Remembering my rule to always incorporate one color in both pieces (ex. the white!) and you will be fine!

 Another fabulous thing about today is it is Thursday!! Almost the weekend (finally) again! I always look forward to the weekend because I can finally sleep in. I am not that great of a morning person! I am always jealous of my husband because when I am up getting ready at 5:45 am he still gets to sleep! Oh well.. What can you do!

Well here is to another Monday! I know I have been slacking these past couple weeks with posts.. I am trying to be better! I am not getting into a routine with teaching and am getting a better hang of it! It is such a relief to know that I love what I am doing! 

I fell in love with this striped peplum! I haven't found many peplum tops that I have loved. So many of them fit funny on me. I decided to pair it with one of my favorite colors, maroon. It is such a rich color that can be paired with so many different pieces. This color was one of the colors at my wedding!

One of my absolute all time favorite things to do is mix patterns. {Its probably what I do the most!} I was excited about this weeks Trend Spin Link Up for exactly that reason. Patterns! There are so many ways you can wear patterns and prints. They are the perfect way to spice up any outfit. Usually when I mix patterns I will tie in one color. In this case the color I tied in with both pieces was white. It helps pull the look together! I am soooo late on this post! But I have already loved what I have seen for this weeks link up :) {PS.. Don't mind that hair elastic... I swear I always forget about it!}
