I think it is safe to say that I am obsessed with Freshly Picked Moccs! Mavryk has about three pairs now and they are both of our favorite shoes :)

Not only does Mav think they taste good (haha) but they never fall off even if he is pulling on them, they are soft soled so they allow him to find his own balance when he stands, easy to put on, and they are so stylish that we always get compliments on them! They also go with everything that he wears. When I had first had Mavryk I really wanted a pair of these but didn't know if I wanted to pay the price tag! However, once I finally bit the bullet and bought his first pair, I fell in love. They are such great quality and last for a long period of time. They also have great cleaners for their suede and leather. Now you can keep them nice and clean no matter how busy your little ones can be. They really are a great shoe for every step and I will be buying these for all my kids!

Pumpkin Patching it

One thing that I have always wanted to make a tradition for my family is going to a pumpkin patch every year! It is such a fun atmosphere and just is a huge jump into the transition of fall! (who doesn't love fall?!) This year we went to Peterson Family Farms in West Jordan. It was fun to see all the pumpkins everywhere! They have activities for the kids, a huge slide, hay rides, and a big farmers market! I love all the fresh produce they provided.

Now that Mavryk is 6 months, he is so much more aware of everything in his surroundings! He is so drawn to color and big objects. He loves dirt, grass, and now leaves! They all have different feels to them as well as making noise! Its crazy that even with how simple some of these objects are, they are so fascinating to him. I can tell he already has a huge imagination! Hope your Halloween festivities are off to a fun start!!

Its Been Awhile + 6 months!

Hey everyone! Wow.. time sure does fly. I can't believe how long it has been since I have posted anything! Of course every time this happens my goal is to recommit to posting but then I always fall behind. Life sure has a way of keeping you busy! First off, I can't believe that it has been over 6 months since Mavryk was born! Can you say crazy? I felt like just yesterday I had just announced I was 12 weeks pregnant! Life has sure changed since that moment last year but I wouldn't have it any other way. He is such a happy baby and smiles every chance he gets! He isn't quite crawling but is trying so hard! It looks like he is doing a superman. Lets just say he is going to take off pretty soon! We are pretty much obsessed with him. He always makes us so happy even when times get really stressful. We go into the doctor today to find out weight and height as well as shots! Yikes! Ill update with his percentiles!

Likes:
- Koda (his puppy)
- Baby food
- Music! (falls asleep to silent night every night.. I think he is going to love Christmas!)
- His binky
- Sleeping
- Bath time
- Grass and dirt
- Chewing on everything.. bring on the teething!
- Smiling all the time
- Putting his toes in his mouth

- Being held by mom and dad
- Pumpkin patches :)

Dislikes: 
- The sun in his face
- Loud noises! (the food processor scared him to death)
- Being in his car seat for a long time
- Being kept up past bedtime (gets so fussy!)
- Breast feeding (on one side.. its a problem! Other than that, loves it!)
