This skirt was thrifted and found by my sister! She is amazing when it comes to finding great items when thrifting. I remember being so excited to post this look. Cant believe I forgot! Hope you enjoy :)

The Sunday before Christmas is always one of my favorites! Every year growing up my mom always gave me a Christmas outfit. I wanted to still continue that now that I am married and purchase my own Christmas dress. I found this one at J.Crew on sale!! They have so many great picks right now (shared some of my favorites on Thursday!) I loved the red color and I finally found a dress that was long enough! I am also sharing my new favorite booties. I found these beauties on Piperlime but found them even cheaper on Zappos. I have already worn them two days in a row! Perfect bootie for any look!

I am so happy it is Wednesday! I have been feeling a little under the weather since yesterday and am looking forward to a much needed weekend break! Teaching sure does take it out of you sometimes! (But I love it!) I love pencil skirts from J.Crew! They always fit so well and are perfect for my work wardrobe! I own many and continue buying them! They have had amazing deals on all of their skirts with the Black Friday and cyber Monday sales. Below are some of my favorite skirts from J.Crew that I am craving!

On another note, has everyone started the Christmas music? I know I have in my classroom! It brings such a happy feeling to my room and I love the feeling of Christmas! This is one of my favorite holidays and it has finally snowed! I am not excited to drive in it... however I love looking out my window to a fresh white blanket of snow! Ill be honest, it could leave when January comes but until then I will love it!

 Okay.. Lets be honest as soon as I saw this top I loved it! I don't know if it has to be with the fact that my husband goes hunting or that I am loving deer heads, but I had to have it! It is such a festive shirt for fall and can be easily incorporated into any look! It just screams fall to me! It went perfectly with my equally as festive plaid skirt. I love all the colors tied together! J.Crew Factory as well as J.Crew has so many cute tee's in right now! Check them out @ J.Crew & J.Crew Factory.

Most of my looks for a while will now probably be work appropriate looks! That's basically what I will be buying throughout the school year. One of my main staples in my wardrobe is a pencil skirt. J. Crew, as I have said before, has the best pencil skirts! I never get tired of wearing this one!

This look has probably been one of my favorite go-to's of the moment! It is so comfortable yet chic! I absolutely love this top because of the pocket of leather with mix of gray. It adds some edge to my floral skirt and ties everything together! I loved adding in the metallic on my wedges because it goes so well with the leather patch and floral! Another great part about this look is that it all is under $50! How amazing is that? 

Sorry about being somewhat distant throughout this week! Being hired to teach within a week of starting to teach is kinda stressful! I have so much to get done and so little time. With that said, I am going to be learning how to balance blogging, teaching, and life in general! I love that I have my blog as an outlet and a get-a-way time for me! Thank you for all you're continuing support :)

One of my absolute all time favorite things to do is mix patterns. {Its probably what I do the most!} I was excited about this weeks Trend Spin Link Up for exactly that reason. Patterns! There are so many ways you can wear patterns and prints. They are the perfect way to spice up any outfit. Usually when I mix patterns I will tie in one color. In this case the color I tied in with both pieces was white. It helps pull the look together! I am soooo late on this post! But I have already loved what I have seen for this weeks link up :) {PS.. Don't mind that hair elastic... I swear I always forget about it!}
