UncommonedGoods Jewelry (obsessed!)

I know.. a post! Plus its a Saturday post. Man I have been trying to get better at posting more often but life gets so busy teaching, being a mom, and trying to do everything I would like to get done! One of my new years resolutions is to get better at posting more... so feel free to email me encouraging more posts! On another note...

When UncommonedGoods reached out to me to review their jewelry, I jumped at the chance! Their jewelry is almost all hand made by jewelry artists! Their pieces are so unique and beautiful. I have always been obsessed with gold jewelry pieces and these are no exception. Along with the gold, I love the use of such rich colors that are incorporated within each piece. I am so impressed that each one of my favorite jewelry items from the website is hand made. You can tell that hard work was put into each one! Each one also has a story behind it. I feel that it adds more appreciation to what went in to making each individual necklace, bracelet, and ring. Most of my favorite items were made by designer Emilie Shapiro. The cool thing is that you are able to watch a studio tour where Emilie along with every other designer creates their jewelry. This gives you the opportunity to get to know these designers more than just buying their jewelry.

UncommonedGood’s mission is to support and provide a platform for artists and designers. I love that they provide this outlet for all of these talented people whose wearable art is truly incredible. They have a great respect for creative individuals and want to impact the world in a great and positive way. They are also what is considered a B Corp. They are using their business to solve social and environmental problems. Their lowest paid workers make at least 50% more than minimum wage and almost 1/3 of their materials used are recycled or up cycled. I love that they have not only amazing jewelry, but are using their power for good by inspiring others and creating a better world to live in. If that is not enough, check out their inspirational jewelry here!

I hope you go and check them out! Perfect gift for you last minute valentines shoppers! Anyone having any Super Bowl parties?! Have a great weekend!
